GENRE: Thriller, Action
Although the storyline of San Andreas isn't the newest of it's kind. However, the connection that Director " Brad Peyton " has successfully created between the father "The Rock" and his daughter "Alexandra Daddario" is outstanding. The movie takes you through a search journey that rescue helicopter pilot "the rock" started with his x wife from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter. But just to let you know. They are trying to save her from a 9+ damaging earthquake.
What stands out in San Andreas is the continuous action and sounds effects pressure that cover almost the whole movie by very well designed and directed action scenes. However, from our opinion these views wouldn't look that tough without the rock, epically when he shows the incredible level of fit looking in very basic casual t-shirts he wears during the movie.
Among all the big names and the new stars in San Andreas. The young Australian actor has done an excellent job in not an easy roll. Hugo Johnstone-Burt, who was selected to play Adam Andrew in Underbelly 3, was playing a hard to describe roll. Ben, a young professional who suddenly got trapped into the damaging earthquake horror with Alexandra Daddario. Ben had to make a live or death choice either to follow Alexandra hoping that her dad will rescue all of them. Or follow the city logical evacuation to save his younger brother.
Not Too Cool
As well as the top notch graphic and sounds effects work in San Andreas you will also find a few illogical shifts in the movie. But it won't affect how high you will jump off your chair while watching this film.
If you are up to some crazy action and nonstop falling towers. This movie is for you.
